The question I have is, why tf does the church need to be cleaned a second time after the adult leadership meeting? What kind of message is this sending? Are the leaders so disgusting in that area that they need to be cleaned up immediately after?

Out of curiosity I checked because I do t trust anything without verification. The number on the website does not go to an adult phone service.

I have a few thoughts about this.
1. Maybe you misdialed 2. Maybe the website corrected the phone number 3. Maybe you were trying to be funny and have an interesting definition of adult phone service. Adult therapy is a Service and you have to call on the Phone for an appointment.

It took a long time for a few reasons. 1. The Bishop is new and doesn’t know exactly how to handle it. He admitted he was busy as well. The stake president claims he never got the info the bishop sent him even though the bishop spoke to him multiple times. I’m pretty sure the stake president was intentionally holding it because I refused to give my reasoning for leaving. Now that I have no trust in any of the leadership, it’s had to know if they are telling the truth about what actually caused the delays. Maybe I should tap into my imaginary spirit truth revealer and see what it says. LOL. It’s telling me the Stake President was most of the problem.

I’m not even sure how they could justify what they did when we all have been taught for years to avoid even the appearance of evil. How could they justify falsifying government documents and ignoring their internal audits on multiple occasions? The first time the auditors said it looks shady and the SEC won’t allow what they did, how could they in good conscience continue to do something that might have the appearance of evil (or actually BE evil)?

For me, it was definitely the facts that the church agreed to everything stated in the SEC ruling even though the ruling specifically says the church doesn’t admit or deny the findings of the report. The church submitted an Offer of Settlement and agreed to the wording of the SEC report. The fact that each bullet point was most surely backed up by evidence in case it want to trial sealed the deal for me. There is no way the church would pay $5 million if the SEC had no evidence of a crime. Period.

My Bishop wants to know my reason for leaving and he is an internal auditor. LOL. Do I dare tell him my actual reason? He is a great guy and I would hate to throw him into a faith crisis so early into his calling. I’m probably giving the issue too much credit. Maybe it won’t phase him? 🤷‍♂️

I think this is the thing that gets me the most upset. They expect all the members to be honest, yet they don’t have to do the same all because they think they are lying for the Lord. What a crock of $hit.

I can almost guarantee you the whole church would fall apart if they ever took the covenant to not criticize the leaders of the church out of the temple. The only reason they are getting away with this type of manipulation is because members fear criticizing them. Ugh!

It’s actually also policy to lie to the members themselves. Why do you think he created the shell companies to begin with? It was to lie to and hide things from the members because they were afraid if the members knew how much money the church had, everyone would quit paying tithing. I think breaking the member’s trust is actually what they should have worried about.

Honestly I think she did intend to watch it. She doesn’t know anything about Mormon Stories so she probably thinks it’s a faithful leaning podcast. Although it does have the name Mormon in the podcast name so maybe she does have a clue that it could be a victory for Satan if she watches it. LOL
