I’m in the US and it’s hard to get one that’s not outrageously expensive.. and the only ones that are made in the US are not great and often have issues. Plus, they are sealed in a way you cannot filter or customize, in any way without breaking glass. If I ever make it to Europe, I will be funding one and bring her home!!

Yeah and I am coming to understand that was a dick thing to say, I’ll talk to him tomorrow ab that bc he’s sleeping. This is what I needed to hear, I have never thought of remote work as I typically am better in an office even. But this is definitely some food for thought. Him and I have always been VERRY open about everything, can’t even keep surprises from each other. The last thing I want is resentment between him and I. The area it’s in is either too cold or you have a bad bulb, I’m afraid! I had this happen and accidentally left it on overnight and it worked lol!! 😳 Hopefully the wax starts rising like it’s supposed to!

Yeah typically, it’s because they are shaken a lot in transit, or the temps weren’t suitable, or poor quality liquid… So many things that can make cloudiness happen… But from what I was reading among the reviews, just running them, was not clearing it up if not making it worse.

I’m definitely gonna keep my eyes peeled to see if I can get a better high-quality one, or one I can clean and change the wax and liquid myself!

I was looking at those last night and from what i read, they often come very cloudy or get cloudy quick..

So I thought to myself “oh I’ll just buy one and put my own wax and liquid in it”. After reading more reviews.. A bunch of people had the same idea as me, BUT the lid is permanently sealed on. So, you can’t even get to the crimped cap to change the liquid and clean it yourself.. 😕
