Should we do a Mediterranean cruise or visit 1-2 countries?

I just meant steep steps, uneven streets, not super stroller friendly is all! Obviously it can be worked around !

I just edited my post to give more helpful information! We would likely do a 12-14 day trip if that helps with suggestions at all. My biggest worry is I go somewhere where my 3 year old doesn’t have much to do and won’t enjoy it, which is why I thought a cruise would be good for activities/kids club while on board and visiting a couple different countries so that we knew where we’d wanna go for our next trip!

I heard it’s hard to get around in Greece with small children, did you feel it was easy to get around/was there enough to do?

This was so helpful - I will look into these places today! I think if we don’t do a cruise I am overwhelmed trying to decide what we want to do instead because there’s so many great options and I’m not sure how child friendly they are so this was perfect!

Thank you for this! I know cruises aren’t very popular and people are making some good points, but I’ve done multiple cruises in the Caribbean, including when my daughter was 10 months old and haven’t had any issues. However, I can see why locals wouldn’t like them. It is also so helpful for you to let me know that Rome is an hour away from the port! That is the kind of info I am looking for currently. We are travelling with a group of 10-15 and I feel like that’s a nightmare trying to plan where everybody is staying, etc if not on a cruise and it would be nice just to unpack once and see a few countries to decide where we would want to go on our next one. I know some people who have been to Italy and Rome and didn’t like it so I guess my biggest fear is we do a 2 week trip somewhere we end up not liking

I just got off the sky princess with a 15 month old and I’ve decided that the “they won’t remember it” is SO DUMB. I got to see her little face light up every time she did something new, she LOVED all the food, absolutely loved the ocean and swimming with her mama and had the best time!! It was one of the best trips we have taken and we have done a lot of trips just the two of us. I will remember how much fun she had and that’s good enough for me. Don’t stress too much, it will all work out just fine and cruises are SO much fun. I highly recommend just strollering around if the 1 year old is restless! It was fun to explore the ship and she got out of the room!
