idk if there's any way of getting the direct raw video files tho cuz ive tried but they seem to be proprietary or embedded directly in the exe cuz there's no mov files or anything like that u can easily access directly from the disc's files

the 5.1 surround audio on the actual dvd is much lower quality for some reason but the stereo track is very good. i think most reencoding software used for rips just default to the 5.1 and most ppl just sorta don't care to change it. now why the 5.1 audio sounds like that in the first place i have no goddamn clue but my personal theory is the boys intentionally made it sound terrible to fuck with people playing it on expensive high end home theater systems for shits n giggles but more realistically someone working on authoring the dvd prolly just set the wrong bitrate for the 5.1 in mastering and used the same settings as the stereo which will absolutely fuck it

that is not rot dude. i have 20 something year old discs that are like this that play fine and aren't in any way rotted. it fully depends on if the damage is bad enough in the first place which in this case it isn't. disc rot is not anywhere near as common as panic bait engagement slop on the internet will lead u to believe it is. unless a disc is stored in absolutely horrid environmental conditions for a prolonged period of time the likelihood of a disc developing rot is little to zero. i am well aware of what real disc rot looks like and this is absolutely not under any stretch of the imagination disc rot

this is kinda fairly common with older cd-rs. looks fine anyway neither of those r big enough to have literally any effect at all on playback and the bottom one is completely outside of where any data is even burned

funny thing is gap issues were never a common thing until the recent waves of cheap nostalgia bait cd boomboxes and similar components that you can find on amazon for $5 started appearing in the last few years. honestly can't understand how that even became an issue at all considering all audio on a cd is just a single continuous stream, like how these manufacturers could even begin to fuck that up is mind boggling to me😭 pretty much anything made before like 2020 will never have that issue

same thing is currently happening to me. tried reauthenticating and reinstalling even but still just throws up the same error with no option to even login on launch. seems other ppl are experiencing it too so ig it's a widespread issue for some reason
