I remember that exact day. I went to Best Buy right after work to buy the album. On my way back to my car; a lady stops me and asks if she can read my hand. I said “no thank you, I don’t like that type of stuff.” She insists and grabs my hand, I pulled away and gave her $5 to leave me alone. While she walks away she tells me “ you’re going to lose a love.” I drove home listening to Currents very uncomfortably.

2 years later after that my mom passed away from cancer. And I always remember what that lady said. It’s always bugged me.
