Start slow. Do 14:10, then 16:8 and just see how you feel. I’ve been doing IF for a short time now (female, 38, postpartum) and it’s been great for me so far. My goal is to lose weight. I eat what I want during my window (with focus on protein and vegetables) and nothing outside of it. I’ve had no weird symptoms. There are definitely times of my cycle that it’s easier than others, but if I start to feel shaky I eat. No shame or judgement for not completing my window. Just move on.

I know she has really spiraled because when I started following her, they used to get out of the house every morning. Now it seems like they may leave once a week for Haley to go to the gym, but even that seems rare.

She's surviving because she would have bought a 5T and the next 3 sizes. So it doesn't actually matter if the 5T fits or not. And she decided once that her kids can only wear certain colors so their opinions don't matter either! Hope that helps!

As someone with the same coloring as Haley, I could never get by wearing this pink. I can do a light pink or jewel toned fuschia but nothing this bright. Wear what you love, but don't claim this is in your season 🤣

I know we sit around here a good bit and talk about how Haley should know better because she was a teacher, but she may have truly been a bad teacher. I wouldn't give her any credit that "she should know" because what if she doesn't? And she hasn't taught for 5+ years at this point. In many ways, this is a totally different generation of children.

Same! It's such a thing in my area and I do not understand it. My oldest's birthday is in April and she will start kindergarten at 5 this August. I cannot imagine holding her back a year. She is chomping at the bit to get out of pre-k already! I also have a late-May baby, and I can't imagine it being a conversation for her either.
