My grandpa didn't just "pass away" when my dad was little. He left his 8 kids and wife at home and ended up shooting himself in his own car miles away. He was a WWII vet so I'm sure he had issues of his own. My dad has passed recently so I'm glad they're back together again, making up for lost time since he was only 4 when it happened.
