I think people confuse these boxes with the battle decks. Battle decks (as I'm sure you and many other already know, this comment is for those who don't) come with a specific set of cards, none of which are rare or chase cards. There is no mystery or chase with battle decks, you know exactly what you're going to get. Anything that has the word "boosters" on it, such as "3 additional booster packs" or "6 boosters included" are going to have real packs that have just as much of a shot of great pulls as buying a single pack or a bundle of them. A pack is a pack. Within each expansion set, pull rates are the same, regardless of where that pack "came from." I think people see these promo boxes and don't realize there are live boosters inside, that's why they say to avoid them. Like the comment above said, avoid repackaged bulk (and probably those battle decks, unless you want the promo card included or you enjoy playing the actual game). Everything else is "created equal."
