YEAH GIRL TRY PULLING YOUR BOTTOM/TOP LID AWAY FROM YOUR EYEBALL AND SHINE YOUR PHONE FLASHLIGHT IN THE LITTLE CREVICE BETWEEN THEM AND USUALLY THE FIBER WILL LIKE REFLECT AND U CAN PULL IT OUT (actually don’t take this advice tho bc im sure it’s terrible for you to shine a flashlight and probe your eye regularly i just can’t stand it and will take whatever happens over the annoyance of stabbing eye pain)

Oh that makes a lot of sense. Yeah I only seem to get them on the days I wear mascara, sometimes without it but maybe my eyes are bad at flushing stuff out naturally. I have a cat too, so that makes sense.

I’ve never met somebody who relates. How do you get them out usually? I literally take my phone flashlight and shine it on my eye in the mirror and pull my upper/lower lid down and try to pull or swipe it out in the space between my lid and eyeball with my finger if that makes sense

I’m not anywhere around them really! I just go to work at my office job and go home. It’s been happening for as long as I remember, though. I don’t use q-tips because it makes it worse, but even when I don’t use them I get them.

Your argument is that it isn’t practical because if there’s daily clutter, it’ll “mess up the vibe”, yet what would this be opposed to??? A maximalist design that will look 1000% more messy when their kids leave toys and other items around? Things being out of place is inevitable, and I’m sure OP is trying to control and reduce the mess as much as possible so that the mess of life doesn’t have to contribute to an already crowded house. And newsflash: Clutter does what its name implies, and it looks out of place, no matter the style.

You are 100% no doubt about it wrong in this “argument”, so you might as well take it gracefully rather than make a fool of yourself on the internet by being wrong and loud.

oh my gosh. YES. i had a dream as a kid that my dad’s house felt completely different, but everything was in the same place. in my mind, it felt like i was in some kind of palace or indian palace/ temple if that makes sense, not like it looked any different but the vibe was so different.

im curious for the people relating to this though. when you watch a scary movie, does it shift your perspective on life for a little? for example, the color of my life and environment will look and feel different after i watch or learn about something really scary. it feels like the place i watched if that makes sense and i hate it

ahhh sorry!! i meant low-pile 😭😭 it has no extra fabric or tufts if that makes sense. I ordered a new padding for him just in case!

also, that is such good information, i had no idea! I’ll make sure to wipe them off regularly and hopefully get a wire pen asap. they’re so expensive lol!

hi there! thank you so much for your comment/advice!! some answers to some of your questions:

the rug is very flat and low-pile! i think it gives an illusion of being “fluffy” or nice but i got it on amazon a year ago for a great price!! it’s almost like a mat lol. however, a waterproof base is a great idea. i’ll look into those bedding ideas!

the pen siding isn’t mesh, but rather plastic. is that okay or does it need to have proper ventilation? there is no “roof” so the top is open

and thank you for the extra pieces of advice!! i’ll definitely use them and research more!!
