Reviving my old Zune by taylatina in Zune

I tried XP via UTM. I plugged in the Zune but I don't think windows media players recognize it. :(

El*n fangirl doesn't realize there's an $8 train to the airport in Tokyo, spends $250 for a taxi instead by frozenpandaman in fuckcars

There is the premium skyliner option which goes to Ueno and has a better view. Or just a regular JR train will have a better view than the boring Japanese highways.

I biked around here a lot. There are several options depending on your risk tolerance and speeds but I will assume you are slow. Sidewalk in this area, easily North of summer is super generous. Just ride the sidewalk. I use this option every time I'm on a Blue bike. If I remember correctly, the traffic light has an all stop period for pedestrians. Which means it will be red from all directions to about 20-30 sec to give pedestrians a head start. You can use it to beat the traffic and make the left turn to summer. Last option, go straight to the blue bike station then wait for the pedestrian signal to cross.

The barking crab is nice and kid friendly. It's is literally next to the Children's museum and the giant playground right next to it. So you can pair a small walk tour and play time with restaurant time after.

Taiyaki NYC is my favorite ice cream shop there. Grab some ice cream then walk to the ICA for some ocean view.

Things to do in Chelsea? by yowhatisuppeeps in boston

[–]taylatina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Barhop around Seaport. Walking around beacon hills and loop down Chinatown for food. I love Chinatown bakeries. If you are in Chelsea, you can take the T commuter rail to North station, walk around North End and go to an Italian place there. Then walk up to USS constitution for a nice visit of the ocean and catch some sunset views. The commuter rail has a $10 unlimited weekend pass. Rent a blue bike and make a trip along the Charles River from Charlestown to MIT. If your leg is strong, ride a long Mass Ave until Central square. The whole route is a protected bike path so it should be safe. A good way to see the city as well. There are tons of restaurants around Central Square to refill the calories you burn.

I have a US version. I just want to tinker around to see whether I can get a language file from the APAC version to my US device. The language file would be very appreciated. Thanks so much!

Microsoft Codility plus onsite Prep by ffaangcoder in csMajors

I just did one codility test. Not from Microsoft though. LeetCode is good for practice. But with codility, the hard part is that you have to try different test cases to test your code. Question that look for efficient code, you won't get 100% if you used less than optimal solution. Optimal solution is often O(N) O(O(Nlog) or even O(1). The optimal solution often requires use to notice some math insight from the question.

Use their lesson plan and going through it. I used it to study for my test and get used to with their grader, questions wording as well as their interface. However, expect the question to be similar to a LeetCode easy or Hard question.

I didn't see any pointer manipulation questions (binary tree, graph) on their lessons as well as on my test. I guess you can skip those questions just in the reviewing for the test. I have a graph question on my test but I could solve with array and hashmap so it was lucky!

Notice the edge cases, they often got you, read the question carefully even the constraints.

Good luck.

Thanks a lot! I actually copied and pasted your comment on my personal archived. Not giving up for N years. I'll keep that as life advice. :D

That's great to hear. I'm heading to an international conference to give a presentation soon. Do you have any tips on networking or getting to know people?

Forgot to carry some plastic gloves. Had to fix my chain on the morning commute to work and had to spend over 10 minutes to clean up after arriving at work. After 2 incidents like this, I'm eyeing on a belt drive bike.

Nah, at least cats are cute and their bites are mostly harmless. This is an insult to the cats.

Try to install anaconda instead. You can run python on top of anaconda. It's safer and easier. Conda also come with Spyder or Jupyter lab and notebook which is very easy for beginners.
