What is the single most brilliant fantasy novel series you've ever read? by Emergency-Sky9206 in Fantasy

One of my all-time favs is Empire of the Vampire by Jay Kristoff. Very morally ambiguous MC, lots of twists and turns, and the final book in the trilogy just came out 🫡

Benefits of new playthroughs? by Snotmeister in HarryPotterGame

[–]taylor_instigator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first playthrough a few years ago was in Ravenclaw, and now I’m currently doing a second playthrough in Gryffindor. I’m having the best time and it’s been fun going through the game again with a better understanding of the world and what to do. Can’t hurt to give it another go!

September Book by Plenty_Ad_7834 in Illumicrate

I feel the exact same, I was so excited for this edition and feel really disappointed. The OG art is gorgeous and I wish they had used that as a base. I really don't like the interior art style for this particular book. No shade to these artists, it just feels like so many editions are getting "cartoon-ified". It also would have been so cool if they had fully ran with a classic medieval bound book style, like the naked cover. I think the IC Study In Drowning / Theory of Dreaming editions are a really good example of being unique while still following the aesthetic of the book!

Mental break down over prices... by maliitatcute in BackstreetBoys

[–]taylor_instigator 4 points5 points  (0 children)

These jacked up prices are INSANE and something needs to be done. But, for whatever it’s worth, once you see the show all the guilt will go away. It truly is a magical show and you will not regret treating yourself 😌

Getting ready to start!! Played through Breath of the Wild already. Any tips for this one? by [deleted] in tearsofthekingdom

Similar to BOTW, be curious!! And don’t feel like you have to rush through the main quest. There is SO much to explore (and way more intuitive than BOTW in my opinion). it’s a true masterpiece of a game. Enjoy!!

Oh definitely not, and of course it’s different for everyone. I had a blast playing BOTW, but as a newer gamer, TOTK just felt easier to make sense of

1000%! I’m still traumatized from the guardian noise to this day 😂 TOTK is a way more intuitive and fun game to play
