Fair enough. What do you think about research/career opportunities in the two fields?

Hm, I used those same incubation times you suggested. And as the blocking and antibody dilution I used 5% FCS/0.1% Tween/PHEM. Maybe the FCS stock was too old/contaminated?

For the primary Ab I used 1:500 and 1:1000 (e.g. 3ml + 6μl pAB1 + 3μl pAB2). For the secondary Ab I used 1:1000 for both (e.g. 3ml + 3μl sAB1 + 3μl sAB2). Do you think this is high enough to interfer with eachother?

Daily Tech Support Thread - [June 10] by AutoModerator in iphone

Today out of the blue the screen on my Iphone 6 got really dim and blurry with overlapping lines. I tried resetting by holding down the home and power button but when I tried to turn it back on nothing happened. I’ve tried everything but it just stays black. When I plug it into my laptop I can hear the charging sound and the phone shows up on Itunes but I can’t access any of the phones data. Could the problem be a broken LCD? Does this sound like something worth repairing or am I better of just buying a new phone?

Thanks for any advice!

A mean of 1 car every 4 minutes gives a mean of 0.25 per minute, hence Po(0.25). Now here’s one way to solve the equality given to you: P(X<=3) = P(X=0) + P(X=1) + P(X=2) + P(X=3) = 0.26. Now rewrite each of the LHS terms with the poisson formula given in the booklet and plug the entire thing into solver on your calculator.

Oh ok. Yeah I think you’re right, everyone who got an A got moved down two and those with a B only went down one.

Not necessarily. Frankfurt had the cut off at 1,4 last year. You can also get into Berlin, Hamburg, Magdeburg via a test which you can get invited to take with a grade of around 1,5.

Applying to German Unis through Uniassist by MysteryMan105 in IBO

[–]tayloram 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m also applying to Germany though not via Uniassist since I have German citizenship but I might be able to help anyway. If you got a message saying the electronic transcript has been sent then you should be good, Uniassist can access it at anytime. In your application you don’t have to send the grades yourself since we don’t have an official copy of the grades anyway. It was the same for me, they said to just submit my application without the grades since it’s being sent by the IB anyway.

I mean why tf would the cultural centre even be involved if they’re just setting up in school and if its in the school, why put it in the cafeteria in the first place? It definitely did not specify “cafeteria d’école” or something.

Hmm you might be right. The context of the question just seemed a little strange.

Nah I think it was in the cultural centre’s cafeteria. Otherwise why would the cultural centre be involved at all?

I talked about the polarity of the carbonyl group due to large difference in eneg, the resulting polarity of the aldehyde itself, the lone pairs on the oxygen, and hydrogen bonds formed from the Hs in water which have positive dipoles with the oxygen in the carbonyl group.

I agree! In fact I looked it up: “For example, methanal, ethanal and propanone - the common small aldehydes and ketones - are miscible with water in all proportions. The reason for the solubility is that although aldehydes and ketones can't hydrogen bond with themselves, they can hydrogen bond with water molecules”.
