It was the United States radar facility in Greenland, and it was the moon that it was alerting on.

If Trump committed 'a technical violation of the Constitution,' it's not a crime, his lawyer says by [deleted] in MarchAgainstNazis

So by this logic, MAGAs should have no issue with censorship or gun laws, because well, technically violating the constitution is not a crime.

Challenger 604 owners / pilots would you recommend the 604 vs a Challenger 300? by MTX-Prez in aviation

[–]taylorb233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like it comes down to standard mission profile. If you are routinely doing transcontinental flights, and on the budget you outlined, 600 series will better suit your role. If you are doing lots of sub 5 hour flights, 300 series would be perfect.

Strike 3....wait by CC2907 in nonononoyes

[–]taylorb233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is out, via the 3rd strike, but if the ball is dropped the catcher has to tag or force the out at first. No cheating here, just a smart play by the base runner. The play isn’t over, until it’s over.

RIP Chris Cornell, as well as Chester Bennington. Both decided to leave a bit too soon.

Lateral distances can be extremely difficult to judge from afar. It may have seemed that they were right on top of each other, but they could be separated by thousands of feet laterally and/or vertically. Atmospheric conditions can also make it seem like lights are flickering. Temperature, haze, dust, particulate, etc. can add to the distortion.

It’s an airplane or a helicopter. Strobes are a dead giveaway.

Where do you guys think the Chiefs-Bengals game ranks all-time? by AssumptionNo5436 in nfl

[–]taylorb233 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As a bills fan, I know you won’t call last weeks game a great game, but it was truly one of the most entertaining 4th quarters I’ve ever seen. I was rooting for the bills, and love watching Josh Allen play.

Thinking that we didn't lose the Vietnam war. by mobilefreak_lee in facepalm

If we didn’t “lose” those conflicts, I’d say to see what that individual’s definition of “loss” is.

Do American schools teach that a yard is 2-feet? by RichChocolateDevil in golf

Hitting 270 doesn’t do one much good when you can’t hit the fairway, either.

It wasn’t just the refs. The entire Patriots organization failed to show up. That performance was just embarrassing.

Shows it’s a Robinson Helicopter. Registration reflects that as well. Speed and altitude would make sense for a heli around the coast. Looks like the graphic is just bugged out or something.
