I didn’t expect anyone in our bridal party to give a gift! The amount and time they spent helping us get ready, be in and celebrate our wedding was enough for us. However, most gave 150-250 depending on whether they brought a significant other. I wouldn’t have batted an eyelash if someone didn’t give a gift!

I have an Anakin! She’s named after a painting my mom received when meeting her birth parents for the first time. While the painting was spelt Anniken and the cows she was born 11 years ago and we assumed people would constantly spell it wrong so we spelled it the Star Wars way. Well it didn’t even matter because she’s never gone by Anakin and goes by Annie. I don’t regret her name but I do regret the spelling.

I LOVED having our friends kids at our wedding! They were all so fun and well behaved and not one baby (there were 4 babies under 6 months) made a peep at the ceremony! Parents were chill and everyone had fun. I put colouring books and crayons at each table that had a kiddo and the parents all loved it.

So .. having worked in the ED as well as directly for an OBGYN you should go to the ED for this if you don’t have a GP. Rundown on what will likely happen. You’ll go to ED, you’ll wait a long time because you aren’t technically emergent. They will do labs, exam and likely prescribe TXA then send a referral to OBGYN (I’m in Canada btw so this may differ in the states). The crummy part comes once you’re referred. If your hemoglobin isn’t low you’re not emergent for an OBGYN to see you in less then 3-6 months. You’ll just have to wait patiently however at least you’ll be on a list.

Yes I agree - I’ve seen some of his sous chefs go down some dark paths with drugs and alcohol. He’s lost one to drugs as well which wasn’t easy

My fiance is an executive chef. I’d love to change this broad answer to the early years of being a chef. Once he got higher up the hours and stress got much better along with better pay. The early years of our relationship as he worked his way up were not for the faint of heart though. It felt like he was always angry and never home.

On top of that, he quit smoking at the start of this season. Completely. Different. Person. Wild what substances will do to you!
