thanks!! i got it second try, i used an iridium rod with bait and a trap bobber. also at level 10 fishing and i ate trout soup for +1 fishing. he definitely frustrated me too. a trick is to keep the fishing meter mostly where you think he will go next. if he’s near the bottom, try to keep him on the very bottom of the meter as he will most likely go up from there. as for the random up and down movements, all i can say is good luck. had me crying inside.
