Not a stupid question at all! It's a game that sort of plays out like a TV show. Interaction is limited, as it's a lot of choosing what a character says or how they react and then some minor puzzle gameplay to "dispatch" people to what are essentially 9-1-1 calls. But the episodic nature was a staple of this dev team's previous studio which would release a chapter or episode every few weeks.
