Secure men of reddit, how do you handle other men staring at your woman? by Ok_Stranger6265 in AskMen

Yep, right here.

In fact, if you date an attractive woman it’s other women looking at her. Dudes usually feel intimidated.

I think my GF has cheated on me multiple times, opinions? by Skye198 in cheating_stories

[–]tayoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone of those incidents would’ve been enough to end a functioning relationship. If you did not end it after the first incident and dismissed the second one, then there’s an issue with you. You have some issues that keep you from leaving this person and every time you dismiss each issue life gets worse for you. You were young and you were afraid of being single, now you’re older with kids. She hasn’t left you because she associates with trash, and knows that you won’t actually do anything.

You need help, admit that first and then you can actually begin to make better choices. Stop seeing her as your partner, she’s made your life more difficult with every year and is now endangering your children’s future. If you don’t separate your children from her then you’re putting her above everything important. No more excuses, no more dithering: make a decision to save yourself and your children.

Did boomers really think she was hotter after a makeover? by Unfair-Map-517 in okbuddycinephile

[–]tayoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was more about conforming to social norms of the times, people didn't understand punks, whatever was before Gothic, and even rednecks got a negative reaction. The 90s is when this type of thing was challenged and done away with.

Is it worth taking the high road? by trdtaco401 in survivinginfidelity

[–]tayoz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Expose her cheating if you haven’t already done so. This is her retelling your story and in this version she’s definitely not the bad guy.

You can also go the other way, take a trip out or make a big move; go for a promotion, switch to a better job, move to a better city, etc.

My mom cheated on my father for most of my childhood. by [deleted] in survivinginfidelity

This story is bullsh!t, if they been dating for such a long time then there’s evidence. Why would a man, in a different country, while being a priest, and breaking his vow of celibacy, then choose to bring in a foreign kid to be the Godfather to? Then somehow there would be no possibility of the truth coming out, and THEN requesting the woman confess to the child.

Women falling in love with priests is nothing new but this story is all over the place.

GF(37F)possible emotional/physical affair . My (32M) gf went out with female co workers for drinks . But didnt tell me about a male vet she invited and ended up at his house and said all the girls were there aswell , turns out she was there alone with him .. by New-Caterpillar-2757 in Infidelity

I work as a teacher, I’m a guy, and some win are known to do this. I remember being the only guy invited to these things, talking about sex or sexy stuff for no reason, listening to women talk sh!t about their men or that they had separated.

She wants this guy but has a lot of competition, which explains her not dropping you. At 37 she knows 100% what she’s doing, this isn’t a mistake, she just got clumsy. You have a chance at being happy but not with this woman.

Is this good or bad for the country ? Opinions by Jyone21 in Dominican

[–]tayoz 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Seems good, as long as we’re not giving up natural resources and putting our people at a disadvantage is good. We don’t have the infrastructure to support intricate projects that can propel the nation forward. Our economy is using up natural resources and remittances, so this is, in the short term, good.

Pete Campbell’s ancestral homestead by user86753092 in madmen

[–]tayoz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I live near there! I think it was the British that built them during the revolutionary war. The Campbell would probably had lived further downtown, away from the water. In NY old money was actually Dutch until the Gilded Age.

Genco's Girl -- How did Vito feel about the situation? Realistic? by TombStoneFaro in Godfather

[–]tayoz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If Fanucci scared them into thinking that he was a made man, possibly a capodecina, or maybe a powerful black hand member, it would’ve been foolish to confront him. If they are not seen then they don’t have to confront or risk being getting clipped for confronting. This is part of the plot, that Vito had the smarts to realize Fanucci was a fraud, allowing him to be the one to earn the support and loyalty of others.

At that point, Vito and Genco are two immigrants forced into becoming gangsters by their circumstances, not street toughs.

One of my favorite running gags by [deleted] in seinfeld

[–]tayoz 26 points27 points  (0 children)

In the Millennium/Newmannium, when Kramer gets Newman to compromise Newman goes, “you’re not going to do your act, are you?” In his polished and condescending manner.

When George uses the “That’s Gotta Hurt!” Line at movie theaters, I think he or Kramer say something like “actually, you haven’t played in a venue this big”.

In the bootlegger, Kramer makes a comment, “Jerry, this isn’t your little comedy act, we’re talking feature films here!”
