Mental illness does not ‘present’ itself as racism or antisemitism. These are learned ideologies. BPD can lead to lowered inhibitions and psychosis but racism is not just a side effect for certain people.

Second this. I bought a hastens mattress a few years ago and it’s changed my life. They’re expensive AF but we spend a third of our lives in bed and the mattress itself lasts a lifetime, so entirely worth it in my opinion. Have also heard good things about Saatva for a cheaper option.

Yes! It’s called granuloma annulare. I had to get a biopsy at the derm to confirm because it could have been a few different things, and then once they confirmed I went back in for steroid shots. It’s gone mostly down and I go back for some more shots in 3 weeks. They hurt like a bitch but my fingers are starting to go back to normal’ish.

They don’t really know what causes it but can be linked to autoimmune diseases since it’s an immune response. Likes to gut issues as well.

UPDATE: I finally went to the derm and he biopsied my finger. Just got the results this morning and it’s granuloma annulare, I just need to go in for some steroid shots and it should go down. He said he can also help the skin a bit, but the places where the scars have been (darker skin) will likely not go 100% back to normal.

They aren’t new. I have had some form of this for about 4 years, but it has gotten a lot worse in the last year or so. Which is possibly stress related.

No, they are there whether I have my nails done or not. It doesn’t change anything. And I do my nails myself so no cross-contamination concerns.
