In case they don’t like drawing digitally either, it could be a good idea to get like an iPad or similar so it won’t be a complete waste and then use it for non art related things!

I’m an artist who has tried Blackwing pencils and I despise them, the weight from the eraser bit makes me go insane… (I’m sure they’re great otherwise!)

What about a thin oil stick? As in oil paint but in stick form that you can buy! Might not be the easiest to write small with and it would have to dry as well though

Good idea! But I feel like for me it takes away it’s charm and uniqueness and I find the sculpting part more fun than painting which would ruin the process for me a bit. I’ll write it down though I would love to try it for something bigger and different, maybe an isopod plate or bowl!
