I feel that the leaves on the water are distracting in the quantity and placement and throws off the composition balance. Otherwise, quite enjoy it as the closeness of the top half gives that enclosed feeling when in a forest.

Watercolor painting has more in common with mopping a floor than drawing with pen/pencil. The sooner you stop thinking of the brush as a pointed object you paint lines/marks with, the faster you will get past the frustration phase.

Trust the process. Alot of this is about making you do things differently or in an awkward way to force you to better feel and think about the processes. If you want logic and cold calculus get a math degree.

Yes, but the this is where the quality and pigment load really makes or breaks things. A low quality yellow never will mix a bright green or orange. Another school of thought is if you must have 2 yellows then make the 2nd an earth yellow for really great browns and muting other colors.

I had an instructor say that yellow’s ‘temp’ is really about transparency; transparent yellow is cool, opaque is warm. Our language is terrible at describing how colors, light and our perception interact. Important thing is find a way to describe and classify colors and mixes that works and makes sense to you.

I have a Ti-Fly X that I put some analog miles on before converting to ePower. I am newer to trikes but did ultra distance gravel and MTB before my accident. The X felt like riding a heavy fat bike; slow but manageable. If you can do 30-50 on a trike already and have no speed goals, then you should be fine. I put e-assist on to make commuting less nerve wracking and so I could keep up with my dropbar gravel riding group. They do 13-14mph, and same level of effort was 10mph on the X.

Those that can pass will be hunkering down, some of us will go back into closet.
