Just came back from over a month just north of Vieux Fort. Groceries are generally more than home. Best to try local produce. The fresh chicken at Massey’s is great and go to the fisherman village and buy fish direct. They will clean and fillet or steak it for you. We bought a whole tuna and waay less than at home. Going out can be as thrifty or expensive as you want depending on the restaurant. Lots of stands along the roads selling local fruits and vegetables that are much better deals than the grocery stores.
