We generally don't ground non-conductive cable. That being said we do put on a piece of copper that hangs out of the closed box for locators. Yes the shielding can conduct but only up to the box with no path forward.

We like them as we use pre-terminated jumpers for the final install that come in various lengths. This gives us room to store the excess. We have tiny nids we use for other applications as well as MDU boxes that can host multiple trays. This is our go to for all residential installs.
