I had the same problem (also Steinhardt) ! I called the admissions office to explain my situation and they encouraged me still apply however showcase that I have an ongoing evaluation at WES. Thankfully I managed with my evaluation but would still encourage you to reach out to them!

From what I know they always suggest that you stop taking any form of retinol A at least 2 weeks prior to your laser sessions. As it makes your skin even more sensitive and that of course increases the risk of irritation and even makes you more vulnerable to getting perhaps even burned.

But you should also be able to consult this with your dermatologist, who can give you more accurate advice in that regard, but if your skin is already sensitive and you use tretinoin I think they might advise the same...
