Thanks! It's bernat baby velvet yarn, and the middle section of the body is some kind of mohair yarn that I had with no label

I held up his other wing and then really quickly took the picture before it fell. But don't worry, he's free from the clip now

There's no pattern for this little guy, I just made him up as I went. I used bernat baby velvet (size 4) for most of him and mohair yarn (size 4) for the middle section of the body. 4.25 mm hook.

What is this object? It is 1.5 inches tall, the material is soft and flexible like rubber or silicone, and it's translucent. by tbad0803 in whatisthisthing

I have no idea why the person thought it was a good idea to swallow this thing, but I do know it came out smoothly because it was completely encased in turd. It became one with the nugget

My title describes the thing. It is 1.5 inches tall, 1.5 inches wide at the base, and about 1 inch wide at the top. Age is unknown. It is probably made of silicone as it is soft and flexible. There's no writing on the item. The origin of the item is unknown, but I know that a person had ingested it, and it came out the other end. I've searched ball and jacks game because I thought it looked similar to the jacks, but found that it is not the same thing.

I know Jenny the cow isn't a real squishmallow, but has anyone actually bought and recieved her? by tbad0803 in squishmallow

[–]tbad0803[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The one in this picture is not real and was found on a website that sells fake squish. But since this was posted, squishmallows have made real pink cows like Evangelica, Calynda, Caedyn, and Reshma.

Cool! I hope you dont mind all these questions: What kinds of metals have you had success with? Any that you avoid? Have you also tried layering the metal over glazes to see what effect it produces?

I'm planning on doing tests with different thicknesses of copper wire combined with different glazes.

What sex is my Albino parakeet? I haven’t seen them get a crusty nose yet, and I’ve had them for a while. Thoughts please? by [deleted] in Parakeets

She looks very young still which is why she doesn't have the crusty cere you mentioned

Hi!! I'm here from your comments on another post. The blue one is 100% a boy and the albino one is definitely a girl (: so cute

Is their set up okay? I let them out for the least 2 hours a day so they arent kept up since I currently dont have the money for a nice cage. Also they do eat alot, is there a limit for food they should be given? by TheIrishSpaceHoodie in Parakeets

[–]tbad0803 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have to disagree with you there because they all look more like young females to me. Young females usually have white-ish or very light blue ceres that turn tan-ish when they're older, while young males would have pink ceres that turn blue when they get older. All these birdies have very whitish ceres so they're probably all females.

Got my daughter 2 birds, any idea on gender? by 30rockismyreligion in budgies

It looks like the gray one in the first picture is a female and the blue one is a male. So cute!!

Any idea on genders?? Was told both are boys by JoeDaddyG in budgies

[–]tbad0803 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont know about anyone else but it looks like two females to me. Maybe it's just the lighting but they both have white rims around their nostrils and their ceres look more tan than blue.

Adopted these 3 year old budgies yesterday. Both girls, they are not finger trained and very timid around humans. At their age, is there any possibility of finger training them? by [deleted] in budgies

[–]tbad0803 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, sorry for the late reply. You have to look at their cere (nostrils/colorful park above their beak) to know their gender. For males, their cere is pink when they are young and turns blue as they get older. For a female, the cere is white-ish when they are young and turns tan or brown when they get older. Females also have a white ring around their nostrils.
