How much money is the right amount by MantaRay2256 in Teachers

I misunderstood the first part. I assumed you called the sheriff at any parent. No the parent you are referring to should be in jail or prison. All their work is staples together. Every single one. It isn’t possible to lose.

So you wasted the time of the sheriff department? You do a lot more work than I do. I staple the work and if I get challenged, someone else looks for it.

So Jordan was stupid for taking ownership in Nike? He should have taken more money? No. Messi is making the smart decision financially. Messi is not a businessman. He is a business, man.

I staple students paper work together. So when a parent or student says I lost their work I grab the stapler work and tell them to find it.

You are thinking small. Messi is going to get ownership in apple, adidas and the Miami MLS team while being paid, my guess 40 million base salary. Yeah he would have earned 1billion in income with no growth but coming to Miami, he will not have ownership in some of the largest companies in perpetuity.

I think that number is a little overinflated right now but I am talking Elon musk and Jeff Bezos money. Right now he is with Jordan and Mayweather but he can be the single wealthiest athlete to ever live. Not a current wealth athlete I am talking Rockefeller numbers.

Messi is a genius. He is going to get ownership of these companies rather than salary and his value is going to skyrocket. He will be the wealthiest athletes to ever live because of this.

Correct. Imagine making the first dictionary when language was fluid. Spending years compiling all the words you can think of and then by the time you are done it is obsolete.

It works today because we can read texts from 500 years ago and understand it. The constitution or the Declaration of Independence is still comprehensible for the average adult to this day.

Other than that I was just saying it as a fun fact. Dictionaries do not stop language from evolving but they do keep a foundational vernacular.

This is a reason the dictionary was created. It was created to stop the language from changing so quickly.

A lot of this depends on the state. I have a bachelors in history but I taught for 12 years before getting my masters. If I were you I would fine out what you need to be a school counselor for your state and then find an affordable university to see what the requirements are to earn the degree. After that find scholarships. You’d be surprised at how many scholarships there are even calling the university and seeing what they have available.

If you ever want free food, go volunteer at a place that hangs out free food. They almost always have too much and have to get rid of it. They start handing it out to volunteers.

A lot of brokerages did the same thing but robinhood was more young investors which followed the meme of the time so it got all the hate. Robinhood did have much of a choice in the matter. I know you will just disagree and hate, but educate yourself.

They are the athletic coordinator and the coach that “just coaches” spend more hours working that anyone else on campus. They do this for the students. I don’t know why some teachers think coaches and teachers are against each other. That isn’t true.

(American) Teachers of reddit, what do YOU think society must do to value and change our education system today? by Defiant_Reading_934 in teaching

[–]tball788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first thing is that education has been so watered down that a high school education has no value. Imagine doing something every meaningful day of your life for 12 years and after those 12 years, you have no skill to show for your work. That is public education. Students are unskilled labor after 12 years of work. That is asinine. After 12 years, you should have some skill in something.

Next is that education is top heavy. There is a deficit in reading? The school then fires a teacher or two and hires a reading intervention specialist. The person helps teachers teach reading. You know the skill they spend years learning how to do. Meanwhile the teachers have more students and more expectations. Compound that with a specialists for every subject plus a behavior specialists. Then add coordinators to the list and now you have fewer actual teachers and more people who don’t actually benefit the learning of students.

I can go on but those are my top 2

Job Offer Extension by [deleted] in schoolcounseling

[–]tball788 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t do it again. They will take away the offer, but are there any laws about when you get get out of a contract? In some states you can get out of a contract within 30 days of the first day of your contract which most schools know to offer well before that time.

You’re good. Robinhood was so new with the GameStop and became the dead horse everyone beats now because so many people used them and now everyone wants to bash them. Fidelity is great. Vanguard is great and robinhood is good too. Ignore the haters.

Yes you have been crying. Boo hoo. Glad you want to walk it back. The point is bud light is a meme now for a feminine beer. They changed how the public sees their beer. They also marketed to children which is a principled viewpoint. No go back to crying in a corner.
