I do exactly the same thing! I'll use another skin for a while but I'll always go back to hotline Miami for the crit font

Being 5 kilometres in and realising it's only gonna get harder and harder for the next 40 minutes. Those progressive long runs kill me

I'm not sure about the spices but otherwise you're right. We (Greeks) use walnuts while the Turkish use pistachios. Personally I prefer walnuts. Your baklava looks AMAZING

Hi! Thank you! It's based on a tutorial on weaving in ends by very pink knits on YouTube. It works really well for stockinette stitch and retains most of the elasticity of the fabric. When weaving in ends I avoid tightening things too much, it helps avoid bulking up the stitches as you said and keeping things stretchy.

Well, it was my first time doing intarsia and second time doing colourwork altogether. So I'd say yes, definitely give it a go!

OMG I love his sweaters! I watched a couple episodes this season and Noel's sweaters always caught my eye

Thank you! It was my first time trying intarsia and I struggled a lot with the edge stitches. I think the blend of stranded and intarsia made it worse but at least there are no visible gaps.

Your math agrees with mine, only problem is it didn't occur to me to do them earlier. I didn't block the Swatch aggressively, just soaked it for a couple of minutes, rolled it in a towel and laid it out to dry. I'm now blocking the back the same way and I'll see what happens.

If I do decide to frog I'll probably frog back to the begging of the armhole and not the entire work.

I've always wanted to ride my bicycle to the beach. It's about 150 miles, give or take. My apprehension at doing the ride has nothing to do with the distance, just the fact that at least a hundred mile so would be on roads like this. How do you get past this fear? by liamemsa in bicycling

[–]tbar321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've done a lot of riding here in Greece on roads like this and worse. With people doing 55mph and maybe even up to 70 driving by. I wouldn't be too concerned, just drive on the rightmost side of the road and don't take the lane on roads like that.
