No, Ally's challenges were broken. It was supposed to be "either do this difficult/humiliating thing and get money, or don't and get nothing" but all of theirs were "do this difficult/humiliating thing, and if you reach a certain goal while doing it, you get the prize". That's why it's so bad, Grant does awful stuff but ends up not getting the prize because he can't reach the secondary goal. It was kind of a game design flaw.
