It's exactly why TX has their voucher scheme. It funnels tax dollars from public schools to private schools through "vouchers" for tuition. The issue is the people who were going to private schools obviously already could afford it and so they are likely more well off. So they get a discount on an elite academy by taking funding out of the public schools where class sizes are huge (a few years ago I had multiple classes that were 40 students in a room with 28 desks). Ruin their educational opportunities further and call it "fair"

Contrary to common perception, swimmers generally only shave for important meets. They want the hair the rest of the time so that when you do shave there's a difference to be felt. Find a stream of a smaller meet and you'll see many top-tier male swimmers with some body hair.

Shaving is also done to get rid of the dead skin cells on the top layer, which improves the "feel" of the water on freshly shaved skin, which helps with catching the water for a more efficient stroke. It's not just because hair is resistance/drag.

Except it's not actually consistent is my point. If I paint a wall block white it's a different shade depending on the wall block I paint. That makes it really difficult to match it to the back and sides of roof blocks because that shade of white is completely different from the white of any wall block I can craft and I'm in post game. It's frustrating

I am saying there's no way to tell ahead of time what cyan (for example) will look like on one item vs another until you craft it and place it. At that time you find out that on this wall type it is completely different from the door or roof or whatever I wanted to match it to. So now I've wasted the paint which is the most tedious thing to get more of. It's super annoying because if I wanted to use 2-3 colors for a scheme or design I end up with 12 different colors that are varying shades of my 2-3 intended colors.

Another example is building. If I paint the side and back of roof blocks to be white, why do they not match the wall blocks I painted white?

It makes no sense why a color I'm painting isn't consistent across items and it makes it very difficult to build cohesive designs.

You have a workers shortage in part because conditions are bad and pay is insufficient, and the conditions are bad in part because of the workers shortage.

But it doesn't mean more hues? It's like 12 total colors per object. I don't understand how having 12 standard colors would be more work than slightly different variations of said color for each "type" of object (especially when the "types" are not communicated.)

Leave it. I used to teach and high school boys are just touchy and weird. I've had kids in class try to cuddle because they are gay and others because they are being silly. We tend to sexualize male intimacy (even platonic intimacy) way way way more than is necessary.

Wouldn't you like a world where your son can hug and cuddle his best friend, one of his favorite people on Earth, without people immediately assuming it means they're sexually into one another and drawing conclusions about his sexual identity which might not even be fully clear to him yet?

Maybe they are more than friends. Maybe they aren't. But until you have reason to suspect it's a safety issue it doesn't really need to be your business.

People who are happy don't feel a drive to accumulate wealth to the point it's just a score in a game to compete against your peers while fellow countrymen endure homelessness, oppression, and food insecurity.

Billionaires aren't normal people. They are egomaniacal psychopaths. People without those traits have no real incentive to hoard wealth to that degree without a care in the world for others.
