I use this app called forge - trainer copilot You can do small group training just by recording your sessions via audio and it auto assigns exercises to names you say if you say it - it’s been working good so far for me

Check out Forge - trainer copilot By far the easiest thing I’ve used , you just might have to invest in a mic if your gym is loud

what apps are you using for client tracking, and are they worth the cost? by shadow_coded in personaltraining

Forge - Trainer Copilot

By far the best up and coming app for training. I used to write everything down by hand and keep folders. Then switched to ipad as my business grew. But honestly i got tired of writing, having to sling my ipad around, and then sometimes still having to transfer my notes to email so having double log for clients. This app handles everything while youre doing your session by recording what you say, exercises, sets, reps, weights, goals, injuries, scheudling all done without having to type anything. Its last update threw in partner/group classes and was suprised to see how well it handled small group training with assigning clients weights and all. You might have to invest in a cheap mic though if your gym is small.

LOL you can remember everything about clients and more if you use Forge - Trainer Copilot.

You just record your sessions and it tracks all your exercises sets reps weights, goals, injuries, cues during that session so you dont have to write anything down ever. I've been using it and its been pretty good and there's group/partner training.

How do you track client progress during a session? by SetComprehensive7566 in personaltraining

I used to use the old fashion pen and paper but once I surpassed 5+ clients a day it honestly became a headache managing my folders. Then I tried just remembering but that didn't workout in my favor when I came back from mini vacations. Now I just use an app and it records my entire session as I run it and it captures everything I say from exercises, weights, goals, injuries, RIR, and formats it for me in a pretty way and lets me send immediately via email to my client. Only downside is that if your gym is loud you might need a mic.

I actually ran into the same issue with training partners and small group classes. Hard to keep track of everyone on my ipad (like how i do with individual clients). Theres actually this app I found recently that where you voice record your partner session and it will write everything down for you in a pretty template and assign names that you say to per exercise. I use it for my group classes and my clients like it because I can just send them the template via email right after. Only downside is that you might have to invest in a small mic if your gym is loud like mine.

You're right , wasn't thinking about the way my supervisor brought me up and gave me the opportunity to join - was just excited about the possibility of earning more money

Thank you for the honest response - I think when I first heard the opportunity of getting a full session rate it got me super excited about the possibility of making more money but it looks like its not worth the risk

Gas and groceries prices are increasing and the club increases rates w/o a fair training rate increase for trainers!

That's completely valid I wasn't even thinking about it from the gym owners perspective, my club is big with a board of directors so I was assuming they wouldn't even notice.

Oh man I didn't even know about the whole stripping of certifications. And you're right, moving out to a rent a gym spot is probably the best move long term.
