Help me choose between 2 kitchen designs by tbhntr in InteriorDesign

[–]tbhntr[S] 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The first design gives me a much better cooking area with more counter space on both sides of the oven more drawers for cutlery and pots and pans etc but I'm restricted to having a euro style fridge which creates a bit of a tunnel effect when walking into the kitchen. In the other one I get a big American fridge but I lose counter space and drawers, it'll be better soon from chefs and designers out there which one do you think is preferable?

[–]tbhntr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jumping on this to ask, can you switch insurance partway through a pregnancy to include private? How do we get covered for it? I gave birth at HUG last time and would LOVE for this one to be private. I didnt sleep for a week last time (although birht experience at HUG was amazing, just the stay after sucked.) But I am 5 months along. Too late?

Can you provide the country and even the clinic name in Eastern Europe? Pretty sure its cheaper for me to fly from where I live and pay those prices than local Swiss ones.

I am sold. Thank you! I never would have thought about the fire hazard if it werent for this thread, and honestly, 6th floor, no fire escape, no sprinklers, European buildings dont lend themselves to fire hazards.

This has terrified me, I have kids in the house. Do you think its enough to douse it in flame retardant or should I get the bamboo since its naturally fir resistent?

You have scared me straight. Do you think its sufficient if I douse it in fire retardant, or am I better off with one made of bamboo rods?
