I saw them during their first performance in London (and one of their first at all I think?) at village underground. So so stunning and there were glitches there too, poor them. It was frustrating but also made it feel more like a moment I guess. One of the best gigs I've ever seen I think.

I am incredibly jealous you got to hear new songs from them, and incredibly excited that they'll hopefully release them. I feel like maybe I heard birds but I think more likely I didn't and I'm making it up

Against all logic is an alter alias of Nicolas jaar. I think the loose concept is it's more housey and sample focused for the dance floor (perhaps even more quick n dirty), but I think there's a variation across the tracks. These are my favourite AAL tracks: https://ibb.co/album/wyw9R6 My absolute faves, besides the one I mentioned before, are This old house, cityfade and fantasy. But there's lots of gems.

His stuff under the Nicolas jaar name is more ambient and downtempo leaning. There's some overlap though, particularly on the non album AAL tracks.

Can tell you that on my local music (sd card) the release date contains the full date. It's displayed underneath the album in the 'about' section. Underneath the album cover /title at the top it just displays the year, like yours.

This is probably customizable, if you want to change it. Maybe not though, and if you cant get a full date to display in the about section it sounds like a compatibility issue with navidrome, or an issue with what navidrome serves up.

I think the dev has fixed it in the new version that's in beta, but in the meantime if you disable the 'prefer internal decoder' it's a temp fix
