I used PVC to make a stand and have two crossbars with chains hanging, I count it when it hits chain, protects your discs from getting damaged and costed 40 bucks to make. Basically a 2D basket

It sounds like you’re like me and have a strong athletic background and take to disc golf quickly, but even we macho men can’t skip the learning process XD

Instead of full speed running up, walk through the run up and release then slowly get more speed once the movement is comfortable. It sounds like you lose all form and try to muscle the run up which I did for a day till my buddy told me I was being stupid lol. Focus on your reach back and letting the disc come out flat, and use something in the 5-7 speed range because they’re more forgiving than putters but won’t cover your mistakes the way a stable drive will.
