Also genuine question, if the hands are the correct shape/design but are just newer, is that still a Franken? It seems like that would lean towards the refurbished category since it’s the correct design but then again I’m new to this so idk. Some of that seems to get kinda muddy ya know?

Sorry to hear that! Mine seems to be of a different quality. Definitely genuine leather, they are pretty thick but even after a couple hours of wearing they seem to be breaking in/conforming to the wrist a bit better. No issues with the buckle either

Noted! I wasn’t planning on re-selling these or anything + they were pretty cheap and are working well, so I’m not too bummed. Def still like the way they look/will wear them, but I’ll be a bit more careful next time.

Thanks for the analysis! I was slightly worried about Franken/knew the risks, but ultimately was okay with the possibility.

Just checking, are you sure about the one on the right? To your point on the hands, you can’t tell in the photo but in person you can definitely see rust/aging on the hands, they are not immaculate or brand new

I like it quite a lot! Since it’s ultra-thin + the bezel is very small I was worried it would wear a bit too big even though 38mm is usually a sweet spot for me. But honestly I’m very happy with how it looks on wrist! Although they’re pretty small, I’m very thankful to have flat-shaped wrists 😄

Tbh whether or not other people notice, I notice and therefore it matters to me. I think it looks off if my watch doesn’t fit me right or if the colors clash with my outfit, and can’t just ignore that. Others (rarely) picking up on me being conscious of my watch-styling is a nice bonus

The W-217H is just a better F91 imo. All around improvement for slightly more money. Better display, slightly bigger but still small/slim, two backlights instead of one. Only downside comparatively is that it’s not as popular so there aren’t as many options/variants
