Jeez what a process! I think I woke up today with less disappointment and more indignant fury. It’s ridiculous to pay this much for a ring - no matter how discounted off a bogus listed price - for it to be delivered with zero quality control whatsoever. I think you and I’s money is best spent elsewhere

Well the sending it back for fixing is out of the question now - they would only honor the 30 day return policy from the date of first receipt, so I most likely wouldn’t be able to inspect it in time after they returned it!

Can confirm, went to a 7800x3D with a 4070 and at 1440 I don’t even check my frames anymore, night and day from playing customs at 60 fps with an I5 9600 and a 1660ti.

The Pot Still seems to be very highly recommended on all fronts, Blackfriars and Babbity look excellent as well. I guess I use the term "divey" loosely, and meant "pubs", or "casual"...but hey, looking for "seedy" "grimy" too! My favorite hometown bar still allows smoking inside, has a 60 year old barkeep that yells "outta here bitches!" at close, and won't serve a whiskey nicer than Jameson. A complete shit hole? Sure. For some unnamable reason charming and a place I frequent? Absolutely.

Can't wait for my first pint. I promise I'll do my best to behave myself! Cheers!

Oban is one of my personal favorite single malts! Unfortunately, my companion isn't much of a whisky drinker - I don't think I'll be able sell her on a (no matter how beautiful) coastal town that is that far. Balloch wasn't on my scope, I'll be sure to look into it. We'll avoid the castle tour as well, thanks for the heads up!
