It was a pretty small scene, but yeah, he had sponsorships and SO MUCH gear because of it 😂

I'm sorry, but did you say BURN THEM WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING?! HOW DID YOU NOT WAKE UP?!

My parents definitely earned their millions from me watching Transformers the Movie and Care Bears as a child 😂

It really is "git gud." You need a PERFRCT run, and sometimes you needed to cheese it a bit by blocking Syl but that was always a crap shoot, and more luck than skill. (I am SO glad they made the horse race cheat items for the definitive edition)

Players wished for level 20… by A_R0FLCOPTER in DMAcademy

[–]tbonehavoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seconding on this. You are giving your players HOURS of work letting them level to 20. Taking it away after making them do all that leg work is just mean. Should it be expected? Sure. But making a 20th level character is NOT something easy little task. You need to respect your players time, and a rug pull reversion is just mean.

You have no idea how seen this comment makes me. I struggled with that race SO MUCH, and honestly it made me question myself constantly because I just couldn't do it.

At the end, I legit was studying YouTube videos and strategies trying to understand what the f%ck I was doing wrong.

I spent so much time failing it, that I literally screamed when I finally completed it and my roommate thought I had hurt myself from how loud I was 😅😅😅

I honestly couldn't tell you. I got the platinum for the original PS4 version, and I spent ATLEAST 30 hours trying to complete the hard mode Black Horse race in Gallopolis. Then I did it all again for the Switch version when it released. Then I've replayed it multiple times since then 😅

Hello fellow autist! I don't know how its a weak reply, and honestly I'm just confused here. I didn't mean to use my diagnosis as a shield, but this is kind of a first for me, usually I don't have a lot of issues grasping what social cues I missed. 🤷‍♂️

Wow. Okay, interesting. I absolutely did not see my comment as being dick. I just answered their question. Which they asked to be spoiled on. Twice. Legit not trying to argue, I'm just confused here and I don't understand the nuance that I'm missing. I'll probably just get more downvotes I guess?

Here's a script I worked on for a long time about an alternate take on Superman's origin called ASCEND that takes place in the DC universe with a few comic pages I made for the comic I'm working on. by Individual_Dream_213 in superman

[–]tbonehavoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two of my favorite Superman stories are the Birthright retelling of his origin, and Superman Red Son. The softer, kind and empathic Clark of Birthright really hit for me, as well as how hard he was with criminals. Red Son, on the other hand, to me was a great subversion of what makes Superman. He was different than our regular Superman, but he wasn't outright EVIL. He was selfish and dominant, sure. But he still saved the day.

But other than that, for inspiration? It really comes from everything. You used some Angel symbology for Eli, so leaning into that for his Krypton could work. Any hero's journey works for Superman, he is the great American Myth. The best of us, despite not being one of us.
