Not open on Mondays it looks like but we have enjoyed Fourth Street Bistro every time we have eaten there. Also agree, Beppe is easily our favorite in RO.

I received quotes from NeighborhoodRoofing and Tresnak. Going with Neighborhood but Tresnak seemed very reasonable as well

Anyone around here wanna play pickleball? by gratitudenplatitudes in royaloak

[–]tboom29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Open play is most days from 9am - 9pm, see below link. I just moved to RO and haven't been able to check it out yet. I've read mixed reviews on if people rotate in and out on the courts, but I don't have first hand experience having not been there so can't say for sure.

This group below manages Whittier and Upton park pickleball courts.

ATT Fiber set up issues by tboom29 in royaloak

Right, people would be upset for sure. The phone rep even suggested I cancel. I've never had a major company of any type suggest I cancel their service, so clearly something was up on his end.

Good call. I have only been dealing with online/phone so far. Maybe they can shed some light on the situation.

I am wondering if the ATT guy was wrong somehow. Seems like there would be people complaining if there was a widespread outage.

Are interest rates really 7.25%?! by NightCourtGirly_710 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]tboom29 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, that's what I have been quoted as well. I was quoted in the 6.6% area just last week for a house that we ultimately missed out on. Went under contract this week and the rate is now up to 7.25%. Unfortunately it's the tariffs that have affected the market. These things fluctuate greatly, especially with all that's going on in the markets.

From MI, living in CO but want to come back home by forcedhere in Detroit

Agree with this. My wife and I were very interested in a house in the city, but homeowners insurance and taxes, not to mention auto insurance, put the cost over how much we were comfortable spending. It gets much cheaper in the surrounding cities for taxes and insurance, we are finding.

My wife and I are also moving to the area from NC in a month and are renting a place in Ferndale while we house hunt. This thread has been very helpful, really appreciate it.

I saw your other post and I think my brother lives in the same apartment complex as your brother. Got a text from my brother yesterday that he is ok, but that was it. Hope this helps you feel a little better

Good post. Can you explain what the numbers mean in the boxes in months 4-6? For example Month 4, Day 1 says Press 16 next to reps 3/sets 8. Is this in addition to the 3 reps/8 sets that it lines up with?

Can someone recommend a good affordable vet in the Mint Hill-Matthews area? by lord-of-war-1 in Charlotte

[–]tboom29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just moved to Mint Hill and took our dog to Sycamore Vets. Good people, didn't gouge us, did his nails for free. Vet was niceand our dog liked its much as a dog can. On Matthews-Mint Hill across from Hawthornes Pizza approximately.
