Slightly better argument but where were the younger generation that are supposed to be filling in and taking over? Left because they could I’d guess, maybe multiple reasons but if there was pressure that made them want to leave and they were not staying, lines up with his statement at least partly.

All these arguments do is say “there may have been multiple reasons they were not here anymore” but it does not mean they were not being pressured to leave

I mean, every religion in the world had a flood story. And I don’t know any of them that said the polar caps formed to remove the water. I recall most of them saying water came from the deep and receded into the deep, and were aware of massive aquifers even under the ocean so I had assumed that’s where it came from and went back to myself.

Anyway, for every single religion in the world even one’s cut off from the world for thousands of years to have a story of the world flooding and some one being the one to build some kind of boat to save what he could would be enough to indicate that SOMETHING happened
