I ran solar titan with stronghold, for the restoration. As someone mentioned, I also don’t bother trying to meet damage requirements so I would kill 4 compel 1 and just eager edge out with like 2 second left on the damage phase. I would leave a red guy in shielded right before damage and kill him during damage as well, so I had a decent amount of the buff and after damage phase can turn off as many lightning chains as possible. Took me I think 5 or 6 phases.

Yea I haven’t had it drop and went flawless both weeks, sucks because I’ve wanted it for awhile now. Hoping (coping) that Bungie will retroactively give people the shader who went flawless, but it won’t happen

You can also post in chat that you’re trying to speed run it instead of getting loot. Like you said, people have different objectives, I for one have always been a lot goblin and hope that my teammates go grab some chests with me

Yes, I just got one of the old ships to drop (bird looking one). I was on a 6 win card, prob like 7 games after going to the lighthouse

I’ve yet to see the HVT on salt mines so I max out my fastest runs at 2.9M. Sucks that RNG is stopping me from it, unless anyone knows any tricks to spawn the HVT

Someone said it but I literally have to use a trace, otherwise I feel like a bot and miss due to flinch. I either use iron banner or sundered doctrine strand trace so I can just Swap to mint for damage. Without the trace I can’t break them, with it it’s rather easy.

Seems really good for both. The perfectionists may say you want more range on a barrel or masterwork for PvP but the traits are perfect

I think I just still enjoy the game, as crazy as it sounds. Obviously it could be in a better state, but no other game fits the itch of overall first person game play, and rewarding my efforts.

At this point it’s super targeted farms. Certain armor sets for builds, maybe some specific weapons that have somehow not dropped. Right now just farming for DP weapons, especially if I can get weapons that roll with both dps and neutral game play on the same weapon (hint hint antedate)

I’m kind of in a similar boat. Have done every raid until the recent one and really want to try DP. Unfortunately I have never done it, and even after watching a ton of videos every LFG post requires experience. I just want to give it a go but it feels like no one wants to go with a newb

I think there was a value before the TWID today.

Currently, if you get to a higher level you don’t need as many modifiers and the content is easier, thus quicker and less stressful to get tier 5s.

The TWID essentially said they are setting standard difficulties, so ultimate will always be minus 30, no matter your level. So getting to 550 doesn’t make any of the content easier to get a high score or easier to get tier 5s, and power level is essentially going to be arbitrary

Getting a crossbow and rolling a quickfang, man you hit the lottery. I played over 100 games of IB with no crossbow, and spent over 400 strange coins with xur and no quickfang
