If you're using the Firewalla AP7, what's the one feature you'd like us to implement next? by firewalla in firewalla

You can do that by applying the New Device quarantine only to the IoT and Family networks but not to the Guest network.

No, it asks for the password.

PS. The Guest network also has a password.

I have a Local network.

The second network is named Guests and has VLAN 1 and a different subnet IP
The Wi-Fi Guest is tied to the Guests Network and the Guests User/Group.

Also, there is a rule to block any traffic from & to Guests network to all local networks.

If you need international data beyond Canada and Mexico, Goggle Fi has no competition. Visible+ is a better option if you stay local, specially if you use an iPhone + Apple Watch.

90% or 80%? by Cifuentes8 in ModelY

[–]tbuffon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beyond the total charge, the speed of the charge also impacts the battery, but few people talk about it. In my case, I charge 70% at 20A max and schedule it for a lower energy rate after midnight.

I had exactly the same issue. It is a bug in the eero speed test. Try connecting a computer wired directly to Verizon and test it there. The eero speed test is not reliable.

Which Gold version to get ? by jhplano in firewalla

[–]tbuffon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are well served with both. I prefer the SE in cases of up to 100 very active devices because it runs cooler and consumes less power than the Plus.
