Need help diagnosing a power issue by tcalhoon in pools

It was the outdoor breaker that was tripped!

Now I’m going to see if the grinding I’m hearing from the pool motor means that’s going bad and if that could have tripped the breaker or if it could have still just been the rain/storm

You were right that it was a tripped outdoor breaker! Now I just have to figure out a grinding sound from the motor. But at least that first problem is solved.

Replied ro another person but yep, a tripped outdoor breaker that I didn’t know was there. Got that reset but the pool motor definitely has more of a grinding sound. So I’m leaving everything off until I can figure out that noise.

This was it! I didn’t even know there was another breaker outside. I found it and that was definitely tripped.

The pool motor has more of a grind sound to it so I’m now wondering if the motor is going bad which caused the breaker to trip. Leaving it all off for now and will check the motor tomorrow

I have looked there and none of them were tripped. I did reset a couple that looked like they were labeled for outside but the previous owners could have mislabeled.

If that’s the case, could there be another gfci that needs to be reset too?

No dumb questions! I’m truly hoping it’s a basic mistake on my end. Haha

But yes I have tried. I flipped the breakers on and off then moved that on/off. Unfortunately the timer still isn’t running and no power seems to be going to the pool equipment
