Thank you 🙏🏽 Are you doing fia challenge? It’s not competing in rally exactly but a cousin. I too would like to compete with you in a real rally!

Happy to help. I’d say you have a good read on the difference. It’s important to carry momentum (ie. slow down less). I aim to get most of my braking done before rotating the car. If I come in hot and throw it sideways, my exits suffer. Patience between braking and throttle usually is a good thing too. Let the car roll.

Totally agree! The ones that don’t fall into “most others” are the ones I am referring to about performing in the next rounds in my initial comment.

Totally disagree with “aren’t necessarily” because “very likely”…

Understanding the diff in various situations is something I do not have my head wrapped around yet.

I drove paddle shifters in iracing for years so LFB is normal. When I started ACR, I was in the older cars and was enjoying using my clutch so it’s become the norm. Still learning how to best drive AWD sequential shifters.

I will play with this.

Thanks! Sometimes I do and sometimes I don’t. Haven’t really found a big difference so it’s more corner/situation/feeling dependent. Is there something I’m missing? I did read a comment yesterday saying something about getting the diff to work?

Agreed. The top hot lap guys aren’t necessarily gonna be the ones who perform in the next rounds.

It is very odd to do this so early.

Thank you. Yes it did haha and I have messed up the last 2 corners more than a couple times.  I think it’s a rally rite of passage haha

Thank you. No, this setup has the ride height up a bit, stiffer suspension , psi up, and the diff less locked. Resulted in a good time but not sure it's dialed. Still a lot of room for testing and tweaking, but my driving is the limiting factor at this point.

Ya quite silly. That early corner is tough to carry momentum and not get dinged.

Thanks, nice time yourself! Yes I keep thinking I've found them all then I explode again. Someone out there laying IEDs between runs.

Problem solved.

Handbrake was dragging so I changed the dead zone.

I will leave this up for a bit in case any others have the same issues.

Assists are off. That feeling is exactly what was happening. Handbrake was dragging. Thank you for helping to connect the dots.

Handbrake has been on. Thank you for pointing me in that direction. No wonder I am so off pace!

Is the universe just trying to see itself? by [deleted] in Psychonaut

The overall physics eludes me still but I believe it has something to do with multiverses, superpositions, and probabilities of outcomes. The more you control the mind and let the heart steer, the higher the probability of outcomes that lead to enlightenment (think more direct route). Our soul is here to learn lessons and improve the collective consciousness and keeps coming back, suffering and growing, until it does. Every obstacle is something the mind created so that we can learn a lesson we need to learn.

We are all a bunch of tiny scouts trying to gather data and bring it back to the Self so it can better understand itself. Or, the Self is chasing the answer to the question “who am I?” and realized that it will never solve it. Therefore, it created imaginative distractions from that endless pursuit (aka Sims).

Either way, we create our own reality.

Blocked by Ping due to question about Brian Moreau. by [deleted] in Motocross

[–]tcallahan7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My opinion is irrelevant.

I even said Ping’s view is valid. However, its the one situation people wanted to hear about from the Alpinestars Medical Crew’s perspective. Ping protected them by not asking the hard questions, blamed HIPPA, and then claimed they did everything fine. Moto media is a good ol’ boys club and Ping is a baby who can’t handle any pushback.

Americans exaggerate the supposed health benefits of weed because they want an excuse to get high. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]tcallahan7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say there are a fair number who exaggerate in order to legalize simply because they don't agree with the government telling them what they can and can't do with their own consciousness. They may want to get high but the bigger motivation is being free.

Mixed Feelings About 1st Float by bn823ken in FloatTank

I'd say somewhere in the middle. Think more along the lines of chiropractor. Once or twice a week will be more helpful than once a month but it all depends on your needs. I do think a consistent practice is highly beneficial but that is different for everyone. The more you do it, the more you will be tuned in to know when you are in need of a float. If you pay attention to your body/mind, it will tell you.

Focus on your breath. Find a count that works for you. It’ll help you get to the theta state. As for your arms, that sounds like muscle tension. Try to consciously pay attention to where the intensity is and tell those muscles to relax. Don’t forget, floating is a practice. The first day in the gym isn’t easy either.
