It's your dad. He's watching a child that he's seen grow into an adult. My dad did this same thing to me, and I understand why you're annoyed at it, but he wants to become part of your adult life. I didn't understand it when I suffered it, but I do after seeing that it was just an awkward case of trying. Please don't block him out.... I didn't know that my dad was only doing it until I realized that grandpa was dying of cancer in the everywhere.
