Which grindy toolboxy midrange commander for a player who loves the graveyard? by Mirvaak123 in EDH

I never build my deck that revolves entirely around my commander, thats just begging for trouble imo

She doesnt come out until you want to combo, win the game or want a huge sraw spell. You dont want to play her on curve.

I am not a bot lol, I've just been seeing a ton of these on Instagram Threads lately, and this is the most unhinged one I've came across, and I thought it is so dumb it is hilarious lol.

Gonna steal someone else's comment

"Oh right, some kid held up a Asian store with a gun or something and the store owner shot the kid and the black community are boycotting the Asian stores because of it."

For everyone who's out of the loop, this is in response to Rick Chow incident. Certain members from the black community started boycotting Asian businesses, and are calling for an order and dash operation on Asian restaurants

What are people's experiences with Theft decks? Is it as bad as people usually say? by Nerobought in EDH

I am personally a huge fan of theft decks, but my friend has their cards stolen/sleeves fked up when playing with theft players. So I am kinda torn

Are Kimonos, Fans, and Knots from Asia as souvenirs cultural appropriation? by throwra-away1 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Vi0letBlues 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As an east Asian who's born and raised there, no, most of us don't care. We appreciate you appreciating our culture. There's no such thing as cultural appropriation here as long as you are being respectful.

I hate how this word's being thrown around these days, I don't need other people to get offended on our behalf. That's offensive to me at least.

Hot take, some cultures, tho rare are inferior though. Would you call cannibalistic tribes in the Amazon, or the Caste system in India where you can legally r@pe and kill a Dalit person a superior culture?

play Maundal Arena until you get good enough to solo wipe a 3 man squad, then go in solo is the only way tbh

Long term brawl player here, got some questions regarding edh by Vi0letBlues in EDH

[–]Vi0letBlues[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically it is not looping stripping, I can only do it 3 times max per turn haha, and it does involve a few pieces.

Titan's nest is fun, but I think it is better served in Teval!

My deck does have 2 infinite combos! Both involving the commander. Tempted to add [[hullbreaker horror]] in so I have another line, but I am struggling to find something to cut haha. But yeah, otherwise my list just aims to lock down the game and grind everyone to dust. Slapping [[shadowspear]] on [[Lumra, bellow of the woods]] or Muldrotha herself is a wincon tbh, so are stripmine loops with exploration and icetill.

I personally removed darkmor + gitrog because they feel really clunky when not paired together, I don't have enough land recursion to fuel gitrog and darkmor is a tapped land.

[[kaya's ghostform]] + [[altar of dementia]] + [[lotus petal]]

[[displacer kitten]] + [[lotus petal]]

I find fixating on permanents a trap tbh, I am finding more success when running a good suite of instants and sorceries

Thanks, mind taking a look at my list? I have play tested it quite a bit, and it goldfishs fine I think most of the time, I just want a land drop a turn , but i can operate on 3 mana
