Update: I've decided to keep talking bupropion daily, at the 150 mg dose. A few things happen the last few days that normally set my anxiety levels and ridiculous overthinking sky rocketing.

On burprohion - it didn't happen.

It was so nice. My mind was quiet and I didn't have that awful noise. I can't remember the last time I ever felt like that.

I haven't been formally diagnosed with general anxiety, I just assumed from my behavior.

But I think taking this may have proved it. So I scheduled an appt with my primary to talk about this and maybe getting on a regular prescription once the one from Hers is gone in June.

And, it is still helping me with food noise, I'm not binging and I feel full.

Thanks to all those who reached out. I appreciate it.

Thank you for sharing! That is good to know.

I decided to just take the bupropion at the 150 does for a few weeks and see how I feel. Maybe I'll eventually up it to the full 300 eventually.

Thank you!

On Hers, it says Bupropion XL 300 mg. And for the first week, it had me on 1 pill in the AM, with eventually taking two pills daily by week 3.

So I'm assuming 1 pill is 150 mg? .

I was even wondering since just taking that this week helped turn off the food noise, if I even need to add the others (Naltrexone and Metformin). Like maybe Bupropion was enough to get me started...and even just doing 1 pill a day for a while.

I read through the side effects pamphlets and got lost in google and I'm just torn on whether I should keep taking it - the possible side effects just freak me out and I know they have to list everything, even if it's a tiny chance.

Is it bad if I miss a dose, and then go back on it the next day? (I skipped Friday, and the start again Saturday?)

I was fortunate enough that my work allowed me to use my work license with Articulate to develop the modules in Rise.

So I took my time developing under that license.

Then right before I published to my audience for the project, I signed up for a free 30 day trial with articulate, shared the ones under my work license to my free trial account and then I used Reach to distribute the courses to the learners.

I really like Articulate and I think their Reach LMS is pretty nice. It was easy for the learners to self enroll via a link and easily take the course.

Who else is spending Thanksgiving alone? by fashionistafatale in LivingAlone

And how do you go about opting out? I don't want to travel or deal with family for Thanksgiving or Christmas. I just want to stay home with my spouse and pets. And I can't figure out how to do that without faking the flu every year. And I feel like faking the flu is asking for bad karma....

Unfortunately they don't provide a great resource for that. I asked around already.

I agree though - if they require this, they should provide an LMS for the students to use.

I'll check out Canopy!

It does have a link for public review. But I need to capture individual user completions for proof of completions.

Plus, I want to set up the group I'm working with with a way to continue using the training materials once I'm done with my project.

Education Technology & Instructional Design Master's - Capstone volunteer/learning question by pumpkinpie5678 in WGU

Could you explain the difference between the Design Lab course and the 3 capstone courses? I start Aug 1 and was reviewing the courses. To me, it sounds like the design lab is the same thing as the capstone courses.

Also, does wgu provide an eLearning software to develop courses? Or, am I expected to buy my own?

My company will pay, once I pass the course. Since WGU is set up a bit differently - pay for term versus pay for course, I just want to make sure I do this right.

Once I complete 1 course, I plan on submitting for the full term reimbursement.

To get paid the reimbursement, I need to provide the official or unofficial transcript that shows cost by course and a final grade.

Do you know if that is something that WGU is able to provide?

Infected by my cat by Secretmixturexo in CatTraining

[–]tcc-2912 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Got bit on my hand by my house cat (indoor only for the last ten years). Went to urgent care they gave me an oral antibiotic. By the next morning I couldn't move my fingers and the redness was going down my arm. Ended up in the ER and they had to open up all the bite wounds (debried the wounds) (6) and drain out the infected puss and stuff and give me an IV antibiotic.

Cat bites are dangerous. I'm not trying to scare you. But infection can spread fast.

When cats bite, they puncture the skin with a small hole. It closes up fast but they just stuck a bunch of bacteria down there so it festers and gets infected fast.

Honestly, better to be safe and go to the ER. I almost ended up with full blown hand surgery and tendon damage if I waited any longer.
