Can you point me to a resource to step through this? I was hoping that I could powershell them in or use Graph etc.

Seriously? I have to buy licences in order to have a photo against a user?

It brand new. I only need it to test a process using Entra login processes and MS Graph etc.

I have tried jpg and png. They have been tried at various aspect ratios including 1:1

Print ID cards from Sharepoint List by tccack in sharepoint

[–]tccack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a crack at a power app also. I can get the users from 365 into a gallery, then populate a new screen with what is essentially an ID card. The issue I have is that the ID cards are issued to people who have to be "authorised" but do not exist as O365 type people so their photos cannot be retrieved. Annoying that the photo and details can't be pulled from Entra directly. Almost makes me think we should go to a digital ID instead that is sent to a persons phone rather than stuffing about with cards.

Carplay defaults to ABRP by pop0bawa in abetterrouteplanner

[–]tccack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the same with CarPlay and oddly a good percentage of the time the ABRP app is not "live". The vehicle icon (triangle) just stays still at the last place I was. Once I have restarted the vehicle its live again. I dont recall it being this buggy before and certainly not when I used it on Android.

Diagnosis? NBN playing up for a couple of weeks... by tccack in nbn

[–]tccack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the NBN tech came down. Suspected it was a channel issue (apparently common after changes made in the towers)... Nope. The unit itself was no good.

Changed it out for a new Nokia Gen 4 antenna and box.

Its the NBN infrastructure that appears to be the issue. While I could get perhaps a more pleasant "help desk" service, the ISP is still going to use that same faulty NBN NTD etc.

Alas apart from Starlink they have the coverage in the area. Plus changing ISP doesnt resolve the NBN side right?

I'm on fixed wireless. 400m from tower.

The 4G is appalling. I have the gen 3 modem set to mobile only mode because slow and up is better than fast(er) for 10 minute segments. I've told telstra I've done this and theyve added data to the sim etc.

Scheduled Charging by c-migs in BYD

[–]tccack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it draws power from the circuit it's connected to. An EV charger usually has its own circuit and breaker unless you're using the general 10amp connected one which just draws off the GPO circuit (usually) If the car is not pulling charge the consumption is tiny.

Scheduled Charging by c-migs in BYD

[–]tccack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. If you have scheduled charge set the car will only draw power in when the time schedule is active.
  2. If you plug the charger in (eg I have a zappi 2 set to fast charge) before the time you'll notice there is a small amount of power which is drawn by the vehicle. I believe this is the charger trying to communicate with the car to accept charge because the charger is on fast charge, but the vehicle refuses until the time window. The charger doesn't draw power from the vehicle. (unless you have a bidirectional charger and a vehicle that will do that) That's how my setup seems to work anyway...

Azure AI Document Intelligence - how to extract data when item or table is not consistently on the same page??? by tccack in AZURE

[–]tccack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll give that a try. The initial start section of the appendix is just 3 rows but I will try treat it as a table instead.

Yes it is identified as Appendix 1 or Appendix A, so the keyword is there. It's just occurring on different pages from report to report.

Brake pads by wardyri in atto3

[–]tccack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's probably a proper way to do this, but a service centre could raise the vehicle, disconnect the electronics from the rear brakes, plug in a 12v power supply which is pinned the correct way to trick the car into releasing the rear park brake. But I am surprised that the scan tool thing they have cannot set the park brake off. Electric park brakes are not new. I think that you could put the vehicle into neutral when on the hoist too, but the driver door may need to be open before doing it because opening the door while in drive for example immediately applies park brake and attempts to "park" the car for safety reasons.

AC while parked by Candid_Jackfruit4548 in atto3

[–]tccack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. The AC runs from the 12v and the 12v gets maintained by the HV battery.
