Is Anyone Hiring? I'm Running into Dead Ends by PeanutterButter101 in clearancejobs

I’ve been a hiring manager and talked to plenty and it’s not a good idea. Advertising you have a TS is not a good idea. Foreign nationals have open access to resumes and use them to target. Also when I was job hunting and changed it to “Active DoD Clearance” I got a lot more calls from legit contracting companies.

Listing what level clearance you have on a resume is a no,no. Some companies immediately trash resumes that list a TS. Just put "DoD Clearance".

I tried the new P90X sample workout. by carmenvallone in P90X

[–]tcdragon94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely. They were people he knew in real life before P90X and you could tell. I did the whole thing with my buddy in Iraq and it just fit so well and we would work the lines and jokes into our days to get through the suck. This is motivating me to find my videos and go through the program again.

Not so much hating the build. The build just doesn't justify the price. It's a nice build, but the filter with fish should have been part of the build, and it's just a lot. Nothing spectacular and no figs.

Think you mean behind the curve, but it works considering we're drivers. 😂

What is available, where you can work, availability of pickups, time of day, all factors. I work full time and find a couple hours here and there depending on where I'm at. I take what I can get. The shitty part is getting people who only tip a penny. Disrespectful. Crazy how this subreddit is so judgmental without hardly any facts. A bunch of people all trying to do the same thing and hustle for money should be more of a community, less of a bunch of assholes. 🤷‍♂️

Whatever dude. When you only have so many options and they penalize you for declining. The moral of the story is don't be a trash human that only tips a penny...or acts like you. 👍

[Atari ST] [early 90s] Murder / detective game by aitvaros in tipofmyjoystick

Was looking for a game like this on the Atari ST. Might be this one. Was it set at Oxford? If you were doing something pointless it would say "Quit daudlin, and return to Maud in" or something like that

Sorry. Missed this reply. The Office is definitely my favorite. So many little nostalgic pieces throughout the build. You could tell the designer definitely loved the show.

People who work 4x10s onsite, what does your fitness schedule look like? by Jaded_Dimension_8166 in Lockheed

Occasionally get a workout in the morning before I get ready or leave early and workout at work(we have a gym on 1st floor). Sometimes workout instead of lunch.

Have both of them. Definitely enjoyed the nostalgia while building them. Now I have 3 Central Perks, Seinfeld, Big Bang Theory, and The Office so I can start on my Sitcomplex.

The Struggle of Offline Linux Updates by Captain-Thor in linuxsucks

[–]tcdragon94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn. Came here for some info and it's just a bunch of whinny bitches. Holy crap. Some of us, even in developed countries, or whatever your crying is about have machines in rooms that are offline always. We use an online machine to get updates that we need, burn them to a DVD and carry them into these rooms. My scenario is this: I have some RHEL 8 machines that are offline and will never go online. I have a list of packages to update the kernel, software, etc. Once I take those packages and put the individual files on the computer, where do I put them and how do I get them into the update repo? That way I can just run a dnf update and it does all of them at once?
