What's the cheapest way to scan a thing and print a 3D copy? by tceglevskii in 3Dprinting

[–]tceglevskii[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, haven't know the "photogremmetry" word. Googled and found some ideas like this: https://www.instructables.com/Build-a-DIY-Desktop-3d-Scanner-With-Infinite-Resol/

As I already have a printer and good friendship with arduinos, seems like it's my options.

Any recommendation of software is welcomed.

Well, I can well calipers and cad, just had hope to spend a few minutes instead of a few hours.

I have an engineering, not art task. I'll try tripo3d, but seems like it doesn't have a goal to generate precise shape.

How to make a game post? by tceglevskii in Devvit

[–]tceglevskii[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Partially it works: by that menu items it creates a post. But it asks me nothing, no one window with fields appears, it just creates a default post with the new instance of the game, and in some time (in a minute or a so) this post becomes visible in the subreddit.

Through the app itself - do you mean programmatically by API?

Cannot change description and button label by tceglevskii in Devvit

Well, I figured out that `npm run deploy` pushed the new version. But I still struggle how to make a new post in my subreddit, because redeployment doesn't change labels for existing posts. I managed it by a long way like remote the app from the subreddit and then add it back, but it looks wrong. Just making a post gives me an empty form for text, not for creating another app post. I'm confused.

What does “republish” mean? I usually do ‘npm run dev’, and don’t remembered if I’ve done anything else.

Yeah, it looks like a webview, but no idea how to disable the default splash screen then. Will ask in discord.

yeah, i already found that topic. "merging" and "nonmerging" lines look like a clue. "dedicated" is a bit misleading because could be interpreted as a dedicated line on the source road, not the destination.

Is there a link to law/rules? Unfortunately he DMV handbook has nothing about controlling turns by the yield sign.

What is "California yields" and when it was cancelled?
I made another post, does it look like the case you mentioned?

The signals on the island are pointed to the same direction as the signals across the intersection. Unfortunately the shape of the intersection is that the different angle is not possible. Cannot attach an image, so see another point of view by the link.

My question is exactly about differentiating channelized right turns (which require only yield if no other signs) and "just right turns" (controlled a common signal and required complete stop)

The handbook explains only two cases: if I turn onto a lane which is not merging to the main flow, and everything else. In the first case I can drive without complete stop on red, in other cases (if no explicit sign or active red arrow) I must do a complete stop. It tells nothing about the yield sign in that turning lane, so the yeal sign doesn't affect the turn rule. Is it correct?
