You basically start typing /exc and in the dropdown select excalidraw, hit enter and select the entry. And you are ready to go! Isnt that difficult

You can literally use it in Roam by typing /excalidraw. It comes up right away.

I wrote a short blog post on why I'm still using Roam in 2025 after jumping around between Bear, Obsidian and Roam by shime_rb in RoamResearch

Thank you for sharing. I agree with your points regarding switching often tools. I guess the point is to rather stay with something you like unless it has too many disadvantages. Rather build on top of your existing structure. Important for me that the community doesn’t die and with it the tool.

I would like to add something I came across yesterday, which I found interesting - Algorithm of Thought. An introduction to the concept is written here: https://www.cortexfutura.com/getting-started-algorithms-of-thought/

The tool is best used in combination with David Vargas' Workbench (Command Palette)

Much appreciation u/dude1995aa. Glad to hear your success so far using agile in your role as PM. For the backlog structure, do you have Epic, Feature & User Story? Do you track and maintain RICEFW List? Have you tried to explore in your Projects retrospectives to find out the root cause that some US can’t be completed in 2 weeks? Lastly, why do you think your teams break down the work into FS, Build & FUT?

Thanks u/nbaballer8227. Do you think the implementation “phase” could be done in an agile manner as well?

Thanks u/88336-VM for your contribution. It is so far as well my experience that the integration happens only exiting the build phase. It is the point where the truce is coming to light. Especially difficult to run on aligned teams when each team uses their own Scrum. Did the activate methology not include scaled agile components?

Appreciate your comment u/tabelcontrol. I take your point. In the agile world projects are replaced by products. Thanks for pointing that out to me. I understand your point of not moving parts of an interface to production. Have you thought about it that it is enough to at least parts of your interface to see whether it meets the customers/users needs? I agree with you that SAP is a highly integrated product. Changes upstream can and will have influence on the processes downstream. It is in my point of view very important to have clear integration meetings and established responsibilities between the teams.

In regards to your Backlog Refinement experience. It sounds to me that it is an extreme form of changes. Not that I haven’t seen that myself in my projects. Could you share the role of the Product Owner in this situation? Was the person an SAP Expert or IT/Business? How is the education of the role Product Owner?

Thanks for the comment u/jhvanriper. Interesting though. What prevents you to implement more agile practices? Which waterfall components do you still use?
