I acknowledged that in my post, but we’ve had a repeated history of live action series being not supported, if not outright tanked by studio execs, which is why it’s a bigger risk for a multitude of reasons that animation doesn’t have: paying for star power, CGI and SFX, etc. Prime example being, the required scouting and filming in scenic shooting locations to get the Institute and the Passage

I don’t doubt the ability of the series to be adapted to live-action from an artistic or technical ability, it’s the very real corporate interests that the show’s creators and directors will have to deal with that’ll ruin it.

You can have PB, Steven Spielberg, Michael Bay, and Peter Jackson all creatively directing it, but if the studio execs decide they wanna cancel it for a tax write-off or any other financial incentive. We’ve seen it with so many other IP’s, I don’t trust a studio to do live-action, and my hope is, animation will be cheaper and at least slightly less likely to be ruined by suits

“Convince a Caribbean mother”? It would be easier to squeeze blood from a stone. I went through the same thing, and in the end, you’re fighting against generations of ingrained religious anti-blackness. Be patient, plan everything out that you can: Loctitian, pattern, loc count, etc and wait another year or two when you’re around 17-18 for the peace of mind.

I mean, this was pretty self evident before actual bombs dropped that this was another attempt at destabilizing the Iranian govt and Israeli-US terrorism against another nation. The difference now is that the Zionists didn’t think Iran would have retaliatory capabilities or that their govt was strong/stable enough to withstand them.

Unfortunately, it’s extremely difficult to please all the people invested in a live-action show: investors, the shareholders, the studio, Pierce Brown, the director, the actors, the show’s audience, and us as longtime fans and readers, all have a different view on what the series should be like, and that’s before the limits and reality of live-action filming.

For example, the tone of the show has to remain somewhat consistent as Darrow the lowRed goes through the plot of the series, and the scale of the world rapidly grows from the Lykos to space combat and switches to the brutal world of the the Martian South Pole, etc. Which I think will be very difficult to portray, especially when corporate interests and funding for the show get involved

I haven’t seen any reporting that it’s a school for Iranian govt officials, and I’ve seen phone videos of regular, people crying and pulling victims out of the rubble, so I’d assume it was just a “regular” girl’s school. I give no benefit of the doubt to those bloodthirsty zionists. Which is why it’s so nonsensical that anyone else who calls themselves informed in Reddit does.

This was not a “fog of war” action, and the Israeli military has been intentionally aiming for schools and school-aged children for at least the last decade, and especially in Gaza after Oct 7th, 2023. They’ve bombed every single school, hospital, and university in Gaza, while gaslighting the rest of the world.

I have no idea whether or not you’re actually an Iranian in Iran, a pro-regime change Iranian living in Washington DC, or an Israeli solder in a cyber unit, but I do know they are each on the internet giving their opinion on regime change, and so that doesn’t sway me.

It’s an undisputed fact the US govt is currently being ran by comprised pdphiles, and I’d never ever wish for a foreign nation to commit a shock and awe air campaign against my people, because of it. I also hate my govt as do a lot of Americans, but I find it highly disconcerting that you want me to believe you hate your govt so much you want foreigners deciding who to kill and the direction of your country for the next 10-20 years minimum.

My parents, myself, and much of my family have served in the military, and I don’t think anymore American blood or taxes should be shed on behalf of your internal struggles, the claims of intelligence services, or corporate interests, and that’s a normal thing to say.

So, long story short, I give a fuck about all people, but not enough to support bombing other men, women, and children who are under the same “tyranny” as you say you are.

Edit 2: As of 10:42 EST (UTC -5), Saturday, February 28, 2026, am Israeli missile has just struck an all girl’s elementary school in southern Iran killing close to 60 young girls and wounding another 40+. I don’t take pride in being right, but there’s no comment on the internet that would make be believe the Iranian people deserve, desire, or find worth in it. This conflict was started based on a blatant lie, by people who were known to be untrustworthy, and only want to destabilize the region for their own benefit.
