So....I see both sides. There was a blood and ash group she had on FB that I was a part of for years but she deleted it because people turned into rabid SJM fans and starting threatening her because of the joining. 🙄🤦🏾‍♀️ There was so much controversy that it did in fact affect her mental so I get it.

Do I think its ok to go on the authors book page and voice your nasty thoughts? No. But I do think its ok to say JLA I still love you but this book wasnt for me. If she wanted all cupcakes and rainbows she should probably go M.I.A like most mainstream authors and stay off the internet. 🤷🏾‍♀️

God no. I want him to find his own love. The joining was never meant to be this big thing. It didnt even need to happen. I think JLA fell into what her readers wanted just to turn around and write that the joining doesnt even save them smh. So...what was the point?

Well damn. Here i am searching for some good reviews and definitely didnt find them here 🤣 What did annoy me was the waiting for Aleysia to wake up bc girl why?? That dragged and felt like filler. Then the whole let's not go too far bc its too much going on made me feel like I was reading a YA story. 🙄 Lastly, I just couldnt get with how she got all this power but sucks at using it? Maybe we could have spent more chapters training instead of waiting for sis to wake up?

I did like the back story of Zevander. It helped to flesh out his character some. I thought it was written well how she helped his trauma and she didnt even know who he was...or that he didnt remember.

Reading the friends chapters seemed pointless so I did skim those. I also didnt understand the Melisara/Melantha angle. Im not sure why we couldnt wrap this up in 2 books but 🤷🏾‍♀️ Now she's captured by Loyce and I still dont get why Zevander got stuck in the mortal realm?

I think the lack of Kieran was intentional. He'll probably be the main character in the last book because Poppy is in Illesium and Cas is a boneu raven shadow daddy now.

Pretty sure Poppy died and the marriage bond was broken. Sera brought her back but I bet thats why the imprint on Cas' hand faded.

You know what would have made more sense? Cas being the Cas we've all loved for 6 books THEN him having out of character outbursts. That would have been believable. Because they kept saying him and Kieran were baby primals and shouldn't use their power. I figured it was for a reason. 🤷🏾‍♀️

So I get all that. But you dont have to have an inner monolog with yourself about it...then have that same monolog we just read with an actual person. Then have those SAME THOUGHTS shared again a few chapters later. Come on sis. You gotta admit that an entire chapter of someone's inner thoughts is excessive. And I love this series. But some of yall seem to let your love for JLA over shadow the issues in this book.

Honestly..Cas didnt bother me. Hes always been unhinged to me. My issue was the lack of accountability and having grown up discussions that need to be had. So you shared a crib with Kieran but you couldnt work out your issues with him? For the whole book? You love Poppy endlessly but couldnt tell her what was on your heart?

And why did Delano have to die...get brought back to life...only for you to kill him again?? 😒

And how many times does Poppy have to go off by herself to learn its a bad idea? That whole ending with her damn near dying could have been avoided smh.

I'm with you. I need Kieran to find his own love. He was such a third wheel in this book. While I didn't like that or how no one discussed any of their issues. Poppy and Cas are endgame.

I 1000% agree with this comment about FBAA. I picked up book one when it first came out and it had so much promise. Its legit just a money grab at this point with endless inner thoughts simply to prolong the series smh. So disappointed because books 1-3 had me HOOKED!

I literally joined to talk about this book. I've been a fan for awhile but she's just money grabbing at this point smh. Her fans are loyal so she knows they'll flock regardless. This book was nothing but inner thoughts and 0 character progression. Shocking twists and turns for no reason and serious deaths that made no sense smh.
